CLIFTON PARK – Thursday morning funeral services were held for 17-year-old Deanna Rivers at Edward the Confessor Church.
She's one of the victims of last weekend's car crash on the Northway.
Hundreds of mourners arrived to remember the life of Rivers.
The Times-Union reports that one of the survivors, Matt Hardy was among those who attended the service.
The Shenendehowa senior was the center fielder on the school's varsity softball team.
Rivers and Christopher Stewart were killed.
Calling hours for Stewart will be held tomorrow night from 4-8p.m. at Corpus Christi Church in round lake. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11a.m.
Two other teenagers inside the car were injured.
One of the surviving victims is home with her family in Latham.
Bailey Wind, the senior at Shaker High, has a lot of healing ahead of her.
She was released from Albany Medical Center Wednesday night.
The other survivor of the crash, Matt Hardy, is still in fair condition at the hospital.
