Funeral services announced for Marine killed in Afghanistan

MECHANICVILLE - Services for the Marine from Mechanicville, killed in Afghanistan over the weekend will take place Monday and Tuesday.

A motorcade for LCpl. Anthony Denier will start at Albany International Airport at 11 a.m. Monday.

His remains will be brought to the Mechanicville High School before being taken to the Fred Clark American Legion Post, where a service will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Another service at the post is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Afterwards, his body will be taken to Saratoga National Cemetery.
