Off-duty Coxsackie cop accused of pointing gun at man

ALBANY - An off-duty Coxsackie police officer is facing charges in Albany.

Kenneth Rosimini is accused of pointing a loaded handgun at a man on North Pearl Street near Sheridan Avenue just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

Police say they got a call about a man with a gun. When they arrived, they say they found Rosimini with a loaded .380 handgun in his back pocket.

Investigators say the man Rosimini is accused of pointing his weapon at is an acquaintance of his.

The mayor of Coxsackie tells NewsChannel 13 Rosimini is a part-time officer has been out on injured leave for several months. The mayor said he is aware of the arrest, but offered no further comment.

Rosimini is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
