NY Farm Bureau president is re-elected to 3rd term

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York Farm Bureau delegates have re-elected Dean Norton to a third two-year term as president of the organization.
    
Norton, who operates DMCK Cattle Company with his wife, has been on the American Farm Bureau Federation board since 2010.
    
The bureau says the Norton family has owned Oak Orchard Dairy in Elba in western New York for five generations.
    
Delegates at the annual meeting have also re-elected Eric Ooms as vice president. He operates a dairy farm with his father and two brothers, in Chatham in the Hudson Valley.
    
Board members re-elected are Paul Bencal of Ransomville in Niagara County and Ashur Terwilliger of Lowman in the Southern Tier.
    
New board members include Benjamin Simons of Remsen, Dean Casey in Schaghticoke and Mark Adams of Poughkeepsie.
