Four charged with grand theft

Police say four Fort Edward women stole more than $1000 in merchandise from the Queensbury Wal-Mart.

Wanda smith, her daughters Nicole Diffee and Terrin Smith, along with Melissa Jones all face criminal possession charges.

Police found the women near Crandall Park shortly after they left the store.

Melissa Jones faces an additional charge of driving with a suspended license.
