JONESVILLE - It was a challenging Thursday morning for firefighters in Clifton Park.
A house went up in flames just before 9 a.m. at 2042 Route 9, just South of Round Lake.
There were no hydrants close by, so crews had to truck in water from a hydrant about a mile and a half away.
The chief tells NewsChannel 13 that the two homeowners were in an adjacent garage when the fire started.
No one was hurt.
The house was destroyed.
Firefighters do not believe the fire is suspicious.
