Body found after SWAT stand-off

MIDDLEBURGH – One man is dead from an apparent suicide after a SWAT Team stand-off Thursday.

According to the New York State Police, Troopers responded to a call of a despondent person on Ecker Hollow Road.

After authorities were unable to make contact with the subject, the Special Operations Response Team entered the residence and located the subject deceased inside.
