Electoral College officially affirms Obama re-election

There were no surprises Monday as members of the Electoral College officially elected Barack Obama to his second term.
It's a constitutional formality, even though voters went to the polls back in November.
New York has 29 electors, Massachusetts 11 and Vermont 3.
Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings was one of the New York electors casting a vote Monday.
