Funeral held for Sandy Hook Principal

The funeral will be held tomorrow for Sandy Hook Principal Dawn Hochsprung.
Hochsprung was a doctoral student at Sage Colleges in the Capital Region.
The 47-year-old educator, mother and grandmother is hailed a hero for reportedly confronting the gunman and putting herself between him and her young students.
Her daughter spoke on the today show this morning.
“She put so much into making everyone else's life so much better. Her smile lit up every building she walked into. She made an impact on everyone she has ever come across. Every adult, every child, especially the kids. It was the light of her life,” said the Principal's Daughter, Erica Lafferty
People inside the school say Hochsprung's quick action getting on the PA system and warning the school, may have helped save some lives.
