Woman accused of stealing from fire dept. gets new indictment

SARATOGA COUNTY - A Saratoga County woman accused of stealing nearly half a million dollars from a local fire department is now accused of failing to pay taxes on the money she allegedly stole.
Virginia DeCapria was indicted Tuesday on numerous counts of tax evasion and fraud.
Prosecutors say Shea took the money from the Charlton Fire District and used it to pay for iPods, laptops, plastic surgery, and frozen food delivery for herself and her family.
DeCapria is currently out on bail.
