MONTGOMERY COUNTY - There will be no spring sports for students in the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District.

The Board of Education had to make midyear cuts after finding a half a million dollar budget shortfall.

More than $400,000 were cut from the budget for the rest of the school year.

That includes cuts to sports like baseball, softball and track.

The school pool will also be closed.
