Saratoga County man to spend eight years for sexually abusing young girls

SARATOGA COUNTY - A Saratoga County man will spend the next eight years in State Prison for sexually abusing two young girls.

Michael Santiago was sentenced Thursday morning.

He was convicted of having sexual contact with two girls, ages six and seven.

Both girls testified against him at trial.

They testified that Santiago told them they would get in trouble if they told anyone, but one of the girls said she just couldn't hold it in anymore.

Santiago must now register as a sex offender.
