TROY - A jury has reached a verdict at the ballot fraud trial of Rensselaer County Elections Commissioner Ed McDonough, finding him not guilty on 61 of 62 charges.

McDonough was accused of forging names on absentee ballots in the 2009 Working Families Party primary.

There was no verdict on one charge, which was dismissed by the judge.

This was the second trial for McDonough. His first trial ended in a hung jury earlier this year.
