A local gallery is helping children affected by Hurricane Sandy to have a Merry Christmas.
Lamination Preservation Gallery has been collecting Christmas gifts for children for the past two months. Saturday morning, organizers left for the Atlantic Highlands in New Jersey to give out the gifts. Saturday marked their third trip to the area since sandy hit. The last two trips, the group brought donated items for storm relief.
The Saint John's / Saint Anne's outreach center delivered holiday baskets and gifts to 100 families in Albany's South end Saturday, as part of their holiday program. The group got help making deliveries from local high school students, as well as other community members.
