Mother charged with shoplifting, reckless endangerment after leaving kids in car

COLONIE -Police say a mother left her three-year-old child and a three-week-old baby in the parking lot of Macy’s at Colonie Center Sunday afternoon, then went inside to shoplift.
Police say the kids were left alone for more than an hour.
25-year-old Audrea Sanders now faces charges for reckless endangerment, petit larceny, and child endangerment.
She was sent to Albany County Correctional facility in lieu of bail.
