WEBSTER - People in Webster, New York gathered to honor the two firefighters killed in an ambush Christmas Eve.
Residents held a vigil at an Irish pub last night to remember those slain firefighters.
Police say 67-year-old William Spengler Jr. set his house on fire early Monday morning and then opened fire on the responding firefighters, before turning the gun on himself.
Two other firefighters were wounded.
Hospital officials say they are on the mend and were upgraded to satisfactory condition yesterday.
