WASHINGTON (AP) - Reaction is pouring in following the death of Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf, who drove Iraqi forces out of Kuwait in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm.

Former President George H.W. Bush calls Schwarzkopf "a good and decent man." Former Secretary of State Colin Powell says America has "lost a great patriot and a great soldier."

President Barack Obama says, "With the passing of Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf, we've lost an American original."

Schwarzkopf died Thursday in Tampa, Fla. From complications from pneumonia. He was 78.
