Fradulent checks investigation underway in Rensselaer County

RENSSELAER COUNTY - The Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of fraudulent checks today.
The sheriff's office says six different checks were cashed at six different First Niagra Banks, totaling $11,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rensselaer County Sheriff's office .
