Vermont State Police are looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run accident in Mendon Vermont.

Police say they responded to a report of a pedestrian that was struck by two vehicles on Rte. 4 just after 5:00pm, Friday. The pedestrian, 45 year old Drury Morgan, is reported to have been struck while crossing the road, and died at the scene.

Joseph Ferrara, the driver of one of the cars, pulled over and immediately called 911. Police are still investigating, but say they do not believe Ferrara was under the influence of alcohol, or speeding.

Witnesses describe the other vehicle as a dark station wagon or hatchback, similar to a Subaru, with possible damage to the front passenger side. The tags are unknown. Anyone with information is asked to call Vermont State Police in Rutland at 802-773-9109
