SARATOGA SPRINGS – What started as an early morning traffic stop ended with a police chase, and several damaged cars.

Police say they tried to stop Aaron Elliot in the area of Ballston Avenue and Hamilton Street around 1:00, Tuesday morning.

Instead of stopping, police say Elliot took off down several streets in the area, hitting several cars, and narrowly missing pedestrians.

The chase ended on Circular Street near Lake Avenue.

Altogether, six cars were damaged, a few of which were totaled.

One person was taken to Saratoga hospital with minor injuries.

Elliot was taken into custody.

He now faces multiple charges including reckless endangerment and DWI.
