Arrest made in Great Barrington hit-and-run

GREAT BARRINGTON – Police have made an arrest in a hit and run crash that happened early Sunday morning on North Plain Road.

Police say the two victims were standing outside the car at the time, which lunged forward and struck them when it was hit.

The two victims 39-year-old Steven Moody and 29-year-old Rebecca Gillespie both suffered serious injuries from slamming into the car.

47-year-old Dana Delgrande of Housatonic is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
