EAST GREENBUSH - Students are back in school after winter recess, including students at Goff Middle School in East Greenbush.

On Dec. 21 high winds blew off a piece of the roof at the school. Students and staff were forced to evacuate.

East Greenbush School District Superintendent Dr. Angela Nagle says work was done throughout the holidays to make sure that the school was safe for students to return. She says a permanent repair will be done over the next several months.
