DA: Retired Schenectady nun's death ruled a homicide

SCHENECTADY - Authorities say the death of an 82-year-old retired nun whose body was found in her Schenectady apartment on New Year's Day has been ruled a homicide.
    
District Attorney Robert Carney says there are no suspects in Mary Greco's slaying.
    
Her body was found Tuesday morning by the owners of her Stanford Street apartment building, who called police. The cause of death was pending the results of an autopsy Wednesday.
    
Carney says police have obtained search warrants for Greco's apartment and car, which was found in the parking lot of St. John the Evangelist Church.
    
Authorities say more information is expected to be released later Wednesday.
