A Stillwater man is arrested, charged with drug possession, after fleeing a bar in Saratoga Springs.

Officers were on Caroline Street around 3:50 Saturday morning when they were approached by security for Desparate Annie’s Bar. Security stated they were having trouble with a patron that would not leave.

When officers approached the patron, 26 year old Nicholas Callahan, he allegedly pushed his way out the door and took off on foot. Callahan was taken down by police on Henry Street and placed under arrest.

While processing Callahan, police say they discovered cocaine and other controlled medications. Callahan is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, assault and resisting arrest.
