KILLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police have come to the aid of at least seven skiers who skied out of bounds off trails at the Killington Ski Resort and got lost in the woods.

In one instance, police guided five people from Port Huron, Mich., some of them family members, out of the woods on Monday afternoon, getting their GPS coordinates from a cell phone. The skiers weren't hurt.

Police are urging skiers, snow boarders sand others to abide by ski resort trails and to stay on marked trails.
