PITSSFIELD, Mass. – Fire crews are still at the scene of a blaze in Pittsfield, putting out hot spots.
Flames broke out around 9 a.m. Monday at the Pittsfield Department of Public Works garage on West Housatonic Street.
Fire officials say flames were shooting out the windows of the two-story building when they arrived.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor burns. No one else was injured.
The deputy chief says the fire started on the second floor, which is a storage area. Investigators are trying to figure out how it started, but they say it does not look suspicious.
