Police claim to have recovered 6 illegal guns

ALBANY - Albany Police say they recovered six illegal guns last week.
One of them was a handgun reported stolen in Miami Florida in Sept. 2011, and another handgun was reported stolen by police in Rutland, Vermont.
A shotgun that was recovered is believed to have been used in several armed robberies in Albany.
Six people were also arrested last week and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
