Mass. gov releases 21st Century transportation plan

The state of Massachusetts has released its 21st Century transportation plan.
It includes new passenger rail service between Pittsfield and New York
The proposed plan for the Berkshires would include rehabilitation of track, signals and structures.
The current line is served by freight carriers and is not up to standards for commuter service.
