ALBANY - Traffic on Interstate 90 near Exit 5 was backed up for about an hour Friday morning after some drivers saw a man sitting on the fence of an overpass.

Police say the man in his 20s was wearing just pajama pants, no shirt and no shoes.

Parts of I-90 and Everett Road were closed while police worked to talk the man down and get him safely into an ambulance.

The man was taken to Albany Medical Center for a mental evaluation.
