CLIFTON PARK - Volunteers in Clifton Park are using their day off to help children in need.

Volunteers with the Shenendehowa Quilt Project piece together quilts using squares with pictures drawn by school children and community groups throughout the year.

They will iron, pin and sew 137 quilts for various groups that serve children who are hurting.

It's a project done every year in honor of the Dr. King holiday.
