Bennington woman accused of knife threat

BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont woman has pleaded not guilty to threatening a roommate with a kitchen knife during an argument.
 
Annette Crooks of Bennington was released last week on conditions she not have contact with the roommate, or the roommate's 2-year-old child, who some witnesses said was between the two at the time of the incident.
 
The Bennington Banner reports the 38-year-old Crooks pleaded not guilty to first-degree aggravated assault with a weapon and misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
