Man accused of shooting at store employees

ALBANY – Police have arrested a man they say fired a gun inside The Stadium Deli and Grocery last week.

According to police, Darrell Heggins entered the store on Jan. 17. They say after causing a commotion with employees he fired two shots at them and the fled the scene.

Heggins, 48, of Albany, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder. He was arraigned in Albany City Court and is being held in the Albany County Jail.
