SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass.  - Embattled former Schenectady School Superintendent Eric Ely is once again out of a job.

Ely has resigned from his most recent position as superintendent of schools in Southbridge, Mass.

This follows a disciplinary issue in November when Ely was put on administrative leave in connection with a complaint received by the school committee.

Ely left Schenectady in 2010 after his facilities manager was convicted of arson and weapons charges.
