ALBANY - The state is now opening up 1000 parking spaces to state employees in hopes of relieving parking congestion in downtown Albany.

The state says the congestion has been compounded by the city's new residential parking permit system.

The added spaces will be available to PEF and CSEA members who currently do not have spaces in state lots.

To apply, you must fill out a form here.
