School district benches Saratoga basketball coach

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The boy's varsity basketball coach in Saratoga Springs has been taken off the court.

The superintendent says Jack Brock has been placed on temporary leave from his coaching duties because of inappropriate language used with the team.

The suspension does not affect Brock's job as a physical education teacher at Geyser Road Elementary School.

The team plays at Shenendehowa on Friday night. The assistant coaches will handle the coaching duties.
