Suspicious trail of blood leads to injured man

SCHENECTADY – A suspicious trail of blood leads police to an injured man on State Street.
Police were called around 9:15 Tuesday evening, after someone noticed the blood behind the OTB building.
Police followed the blood trail to a building at 1850 State Street, but found no victims.
Several minutes later, a man was found with a hand injury near State and Elm Streets.
He was taken to Albany Medical Center.
It’s not known how serious his injuries are, or where they came from.
