Police warn Albany residents to keep doors, windows locked

ALBANY - Albany Police are reminding residents to keep their doors and windows locked after two burglaries in the city.

Both happened overnight Sunday in the Pine Hills neighborhood and in both cases, the thieves got in through unlocked basement windows as the victims were sleeping.

Two residents were even forced into the living room and one was struck in the head and arm.

The victims were treated at the hospital and released.
