Saratoga County Deputy arrested

A 30-year member of the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office is under arrest.

Ballston Spa Police have arrested 51-year-old Shawn Nolan.

Nolan was not on duty as a deputy when he allegedly slashed a tire on the car of an acquaintance.

He's charged with criminal mischief.

Sheriff Jim Bowen says Nolan has been suspended without pay, pending the outcome of the investigation.
