Albany Playhouse sponsorship announced

ALBANY - Park Playhouse is celebrating its 25th season in Albany and they're doing so with some help from Albany Medical Center.
Mayor Jennings announced the quarter century sponsorship program for the theater's anniversary season on Thursday.
Albany Med is the first to promise $25,000 for the program.
Albany Med is in the middle of a massive development project in the city.

"In the end, it's our neighborhood and simply said, we have a responsibility to it. Park Playhouse is a neighborhood...what do we have left?" said Barbra.
Mayor Jennings hopes to raise at least $100,000 for the theater, which has been offering free performances in Washington Park since 1989.
