Police investigate a bank robbery in Rotterdam

Rotterdam police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank, Friday.

Police responded to reports of a bank robbery at the Pioneer Savings Bank on Altamont Ave in Rotterdam just before 7:00pm.  The suspect is described as a black male between 5'7" and 5'10" with a thin build, wearing black pants, coat, hat, ski mask and gloves.

Officials say the suspect did not show a weapon. No word on how much money was taken. He was last seen running through the parking lot toward Ferguson Ave.

Schenectady police patrol and K9 officers assisted with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Rotterdam Police Detective Division at 355-7397.
