Saratoga woman faces assault and child endangerment charges

A Saratoga Springs woman faces felony and misdemeanor charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, after a domestic dispute on Elm Street, Saturday.

Police responded to the scene just after 8:00pm. 28 year old Cassey Rock was arrested after officers were told a woman was cut and stabbed with a kitchen knife. Police have not released her identity, but say her injuries were not serious.

Police say child protective services was contacted because there was a 6 year old in the home at the time. The child was not harmed.

Rock is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She is due to be arraigned at a later date.
