Saratoga County police dog injured

SARATOGA COUNTY - A police K9 from Saratoga County is recovering from some severe cuts to his head and leg.
The dog, named Gunner, was injured while catching a man wanted for stealing jewelry.
Officers say gunner helped them catch 34-year-old Alfred Evans.
Evans was on the run after allegedly stealing more than $2,000 worth of jewelry from a house in Malta.
He's in jail tonight. The dog is expected to be fine.
