ALBANY - The county nursing home is losing $1 million a month according to County Executive Dan McCoy.

He says taxpayers have to bear the burden.

McCoy says the county won't be able to meet the two-percent property tax cap if no solution is found.

McCoy wants Upstate Services Group to manage the nursing home, many oppose privatizing the facility.

The county executive has scheduled a new round of public hearings.

The first one is on March 7.
