Texting driving is being blamed for a Queensbury crash.

Police say a car swerved into the opposite lane on Quaker Road, Friday, cutting off a car driven by 20-year-old Amanda Halse of Fort Ann. Halse tried to avoid the collision, but ended up hitting another car driven by 24-year-old Lindsey Ludin of Bolton Landing.

Halse's car landed upside down in the median. She and her 15-year-old sister were taken to Glens Falls hospital.

The car that police say caused the crash left the scene.
