Woman violently attacked while out walking in Albany

ALBANY - Police say a 20-year-old woman out walking in Albany was violently attacked.
It happened around 7 Wednesday night on the 400 block of Hudson Avenue.
Police say a man approached the woman from behind, grabbed her around the neck and knocked her to the ground.
She was then struck in the face and told not to scream.
She was able to get away, but the suspect is still on the loose.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
