WASHINGTON COUNTY - Vandals targeted the Lily Pond Dam which ended up causing a small flood in Washington County.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Post Star report the vandals pulled boards out of the dam.

The town supervisor says they likely used a truck with a chain to do it.

The dam is not damaged, but the water from the pond is flowing into Mill Creek.

State Police have been notified.
