ALBANY - There's been another underground fire in Albany.

This morning, National Grid crews were on the scene of the latest smoking manhole cover, this time on State Street.

One lane was shut down from Broadway to Pearl Street while workers repaired the damage.

National Grid has been routinely inspecting underground wires in hopes of preventing more fires and potential manhole explosions.
