ROUND LAKE - A new Round Lake Library board has decided to reinstate Theresa Marchione's position in a unanimous decision Wednesday evening.

In a meeting that took place on Tuesday, members of the community expressed their outrage at Marchione's termination. Many felt she made the right decision in closing the library early due to a tornado threat.

Following the meeting, all eight board members elected to step down from their position. Library Director Carol Sheffer also resigned on Wednesday.

A new board was selected in an emergency meeting tonight. Following the meeting the board voted unanimously to reinstate Marchione.
