ALBANY COUNTY - Three men, including a corrections officer, admit being part of an international gambling ring.

The Albany County District Attorney announced Tuesday that Christopher Socola and James Cerniglia of Clifton Park and Joseph Carucci of Albany, all pleaded guilty to gambling charges.

Cerniglia was a corrections officer at the Albany County Correctional Facility.

As part of his plea, he agreed to never work there, again.

Cerniglia's fellow corrections officer, Timothy Robillard, also faces charges in the case, as does Craig Hayner.

Their cases are still pending.
