Road remains closed after train derailment

The scene of Thursday's train derailment on Route 5 in Fonda.


FONDA - A stretch of Route 5 in Fonda remains closed because of a freight train derailment.

Also, two Amtrak trains from Albany to Niagara Falls won't be running, until track repairs can be made.

It follows the collision, yesterday between two CSX trains on tracks along the Mohawk River. 

An investigation is underway into what happened.

No serious injuries were reported.
